Have you ever paused to reflect on what makes our community unique? The quiet beauty of our trails, the charm of our equestrian spaces, and the heartfelt way neighbors come together for events like the Boat Parade.
Jeffries Ranch is our home. And it’s worth preserving and protecting all that makes it special. That is why we’re saddling up to launch the Jeffries Ranch Community Foundation. It’s a collective effort to safeguard the heritage, landscapes, and bonds that define our home.
This initiative is not born out of nostalgia, but necessity. Without intentional care, the elements that knit us together—the well-maintained trails, the integrity of our public spaces, and the natural habitats that surround us—risk fading.
Jeffries Ranch Community Foundation will focus on three pillars:
- Preservation: Maintaining trails, fencing, and shared spaces to ensure they remain safe, functional, and reflective of our community’s values.
- Community: Organizing events and programs that foster connection, celebrate our history, and create new traditions.
- Conservation: Protecting the ecosystems that sustain local wildlife and enrich our daily lives.
Why now? Because legacies are not inherited passively. They are built through action. A crumbling fence, an overgrown trail, or a silent community calendar are not inevitabilities. They are challenges we can meet together.
We invite you to join us in this effort. Whether through volunteering for cleanup projects, sharing ideas for community events, or supporting conservation initiatives, your participation is vital.
This foundation belongs to all of us, and its success depends on our shared responsibility to our home and to one another.
Ways you can get involved:
- Join our founding board of directors
- Meet us on May 3 at 10 am at Spring Creek Park to learn more
Together, we can honor the past while building a sustainable, vibrant future for Jeffries Ranch.
With grit and gratitude,
Juliet
