This Saturday, something magical happened. Over 50 longtime residents, newcomers, and kids gathered for our kickoff Meet ‘N’ Greet in the park. With laughter, games, and a whole lot of heart, you came to learn and to graciously raise your hands for volunteering.
By the numbers:
- ☕ 50+ Neighbors United: From sipping Sascha Moyer’s generously sponsored coffee to families lingering over breakfast, the energy was electric.
- ✅ 28 Volunteer Signups: The Ranch Hands are bringing the hustle!
- 🪑 18 Board Members Signups: This is a community ready to lead!
- 🎨 2 Kids Take the Spotlight: Tiny hands took over the mic for impromptu jokes.
- 🍿 And the People Have Spoken… the Movie in the Park stole the show as the most-requested event!
What’s Next?
- 🤝 Board & Nonprofit Building: To the 18 neighbors raising their hands to lead, we’ll follow up with you shortly.
- 🙌 Volunteer Spotlight: We’ll be creating cleanup crews and volunteer opportunities over the next upcoming weeks.
- 👕 First Fundraiser: We’ll be designing swag with Jeffries Ranch spirit to help raise funds to establish this org. Look for an email and announcement soon!
